You have questions. We have answers.

Everything Kansas City business owners ask before renting Abmoula. Pricing, safety, setup, customization, and more — straight answers, no sales pitch.

General

What is Eyegentic?+
Eyegentic is a Kansas City startup that rents humanoid robots to local small businesses. We own and operate Unitree G1 humanoid robots, dress them in your uniform, deliver them to your location, and handle everything — setup, operation, insurance, and pickup. You pay a flat day rate and watch the foot traffic roll in.
Who is this for?+
Restaurants, retail stores, car dealerships, event venues, and any Kansas City business that wants to be the one everyone talks about. If you depend on foot traffic and word-of-mouth, a humanoid robot is the ultimate attention anchor. No tech background required — we handle everything.
What kind of robot do you use?+
We use the Unitree G1 — a 4'3", 77 lb humanoid robot with arms, hands, facial expressions, and voice interaction. It walks, waves, shakes hands, holds signs, greets customers, and runs scripted interactions. Every rental includes a remote human operator who monitors the session live.
Is this just for Kansas City?+
We currently serve the Kansas City metro area — including Overland Park, Lee's Summit, Independence, North Kansas City, and surrounding suburbs. If you're outside the metro, contact us anyway — we're expanding and may be able to accommodate.

Pricing & Booking

How much does it cost?+
Day rentals start at $899. Weekend packages (Fri–Sun) start at $2,200. Weekly and monthly rates are available for longer campaigns. Every rental includes delivery, setup, remote operator, insurance, and teardown — no hidden fees. See our pricing page for full details.
What's included in the price?+
Everything: delivery to your location, on-site setup and configuration, a dedicated remote operator, $2M liability insurance with your business as additional insured, battery swaps for sessions over 2 hours, live monitoring, and full teardown/transport after closing. The only thing not included is on-site staffing — we recommend someone at your business to supervise, but it's not required.
Do I need to pay a deposit?+
No deposit is required at booking. Payment is due 48 hours before the rental starts. You can reschedule up to 72 hours before your date with no fee.
What if I need to cancel?+
Cancel more than 72 hours before your rental: full refund. Cancel 48–72 hours before: 50% refund. Less than 48 hours: deposit credited toward a future rental. We understand things come up — talk to us and we'll work with you.
Can I book multiple days or a recurring schedule?+
Yes — weekly and monthly rates are available for regular bookings. Restaurants doing a grand opening week, retail stores running a weekend campaign, car dealerships doing a month-long promotion — we have packages for all of these. Contact us for a custom quote.

Safety & Insurance

Is the robot safe around customers?+
Yes. The Unitree G1 has redundant force sensors, a hard emergency stop, and a padded outer shell. We run a full pre-flight safety check before every rental. The robot operates inside a virtual geofence — it physically cannot leave the area we configure. In 3,800+ hours of operation, we've had zero safety incidents.
What about insurance and liability?+
Every rental includes $2M general liability insurance through our policy. Eyegentic is the named operator. Your business is added as an additional insured at no extra cost — no paperwork on your end. If something happens, our insurance handles it, not yours.
Do I need any permits?+
For indoor use on private property: no permits needed. For sidewalk or public-space deployment in Kansas City: yes — we handle the KCMO public-space permit on your behalf, included in the rental. For events at venues with their own permits, we coordinate with the venue.
What happens if it rains?+
The G1 is rated for indoor and covered outdoor use. It should not be operated in rain, snow, or standing water. For outdoor events, we recommend a canopy or covered setup. If weather is a concern, we can shift to an indoor configuration or reschedule at no charge.

Setup & Operations

How long does setup take?+
We arrive 2 hours before your opening or event start. Setup includes walking the floor plan, configuring the geofence, running a safety pre-flight, dressing the robot in your uniform or branding, and briefing your staff. You don't need to do anything — we handle it all.
Do I need to provide anything?+
A power outlet, a clear 4'×4' staging area, and a quick walkthrough of your space. If you want the robot dressed in your uniform or branded apparel, provide it before setup. That's it.
How long can the robot operate?+
Battery life is approximately 2 hours of continuous walking or 3–4 hours of mixed standing and interaction. For sessions longer than 2 hours, we bring spare batteries and swap them on-site with zero downtime. The robot can operate for a full 8-hour day with battery rotations.
Does someone need to supervise it?+
Every rental includes a dedicated remote operator who monitors the robot's cameras, sensors, and interactions in real time. We recommend having someone from your staff nearby as a point of contact, but they don't need to actively manage the robot — the remote operator handles everything.
Can I customize what the robot says and does?+
Yes. Before your rental, we configure greeting scripts, FAQ responses, motion routines, and interaction sequences based on your use case. Want it to pitch your daily special? Announce a promotion? Lead a cheer? We program it in. For longer-term rentals, we can do custom workflow programming.

Technical & Practical

How loud is it?+
Standing still: silent. Walking: about as loud as a person in dress shoes on a hard floor. Voices and sound effects play through a built-in speaker at adjustable volume. Quieter than the espresso machine you already have.
Does it need Wi-Fi?+
We bring our own cellular connection for remote monitoring and control. The robot does not use your network. If your space has poor cellular coverage, we can configure it to use your Wi-Fi instead — just let us know ahead of time.
What if it breaks mid-rental?+
We keep a backup unit in the van. If the primary unit goes down, we swap it within 60 minutes during business hours and prorate your bill for any downtime. In 600+ rentals, we've had 2 swap events — both resolved within 30 minutes.
Can the robot go up stairs?+
The G1 can handle a single step or curb (up to ~4 inches). It cannot climb stairs. If your space has steps, we'll configure the robot to operate on a single level. Let us know about your floor plan when booking.
Does it work on carpet?+
Yes — the G1 handles low-pile carpet, hardwood, tile, and concrete without issue. Deep shag carpet or very uneven surfaces may affect stability. We assess the surface during the floor plan walkthrough.
Can I use it outside?+
Yes, on flat, dry surfaces like sidewalks, patios, parking lots, and event spaces. The robot cannot operate in rain, snow, or on steep inclines. We configure a larger geofence for outdoor use and monitor closely. Outdoor rentals require a KCMO public-space permit, which we handle for you.
